Hello SONC Members and Friends,

Coming up in 6 weeks on Saturday, October 22nd the club is planning trail work for areas that need it. This could include brushing, cutting small limbs and placing metal diamonds. In order to find out areas that need help we are recruiting you to hike ski trails and report what you find.

 

Please let us know 1.) What the obstruction/problem is.  2.) Location. Either distance from a trail junction or GPS coordinates. 3.) Size of obstruction. 4.) Trail hiked. (Even if no problem was seen.)   Report back to me at kevinawood@yahoo.com or to 541-261-3547.

 

The following trails near Summit Snow Park have already been checked: South Rye, Lund’s Link, Lower Canal, Powerline, and McLoughlin

 

Again, please send whatever you find before Saturday, October 22nd and plan on helping us out on that date.
