SONC Holiday Outing

What: Postponed Holiday Outing
Where: Pederson Snow Park
When: 10:00am February 15th (9am carpool see below)
Update 2/14/26:
Snow conditions are not good at Pederson Snow Park, but there is a possibility of driving a short distance to a road off of Clover Creek Road. For those that want to, that is a possibility for skiing. The other option is to hike to Brown Mountain shelter with only the need for hiking boots.
The group is still leaving from Ashland CVS by 9:00am with plans to meet at Pederson Snow Park at 10:00am on Sunday.
Due to snow conditions the Holiday Outing meeting spot is the Pederson Snow Park. Milepost 27 on Dead Indian Memorial Road–please be there at 10am.
All are invited. Each outing will be 2 to 3 hours. For both outings the plan is to stay on the south side of the road.
We will be leaving from CVS Ashland parking lot by 9:00am for those in need of a carpool.
Plan to bring snacks and drink for the outing and make sure your skis are waxed since there is snow forecast for Saturday and Sunday.
The group will meet at Northwest Pizza, 1585 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland after the outing. Club will cover the cost for the pizza.
