The SONC board has some ideas for the 2022-2023 ski season to share with the membership.  We would also like to take this opportunity to update members on changes with vendors and ski opportunities.  

And to get us talking about snow, Geologist and SONC Member, Karen Grove, will be giving a short talk on her recent travel to Iceland where some of its surface is covered with glaciers.

Some of your fellow members have been out clearing ski trails and stocking the Summit Shelter with firewood provided by George Gregory at Lake of the Woods.  Thanks also to the Klamath Snowdrifters snowmobile club who have stocked the Fourmile Lake and Brown Mountain Shelters with firewood and made repairs to the woodstove pipes.
